Family tree and Family tree Live research: Some records from a record book, memories, names and dates of family events such as birth, barmitsvah, wedding, funeral, the religion of the family should be enough for us to start our research. The results largely depend on the punctuality and quality of these data.

The process is the following: Once you entrust us with the research work, we start with the generations closest to you and we start to step back generation by generation. During the process we may turn to you with possible questions that might arise and give you constant feedback. And of course, once we have reached the oldest possible ancestor, we can start mapping the family tree back to your generation, thus finding new relatives and cousins.

For records before 1895 we research in parish books of religious congregations, communities and for records after 1895 we conduct the research in state record books of cities and villages. We will then visit the village, town where the ancestors in question had lived, we will visit the cemetery trying to find their gravestones, and try to find the old family house, the old shul, or anything you are interested in.

Our Family tree Live services are really unique in this field: you can come, travel with us to conquere all possible places, we can find together the graves, the old family house. We're helping you be active part of your family research, get to know all little details personally: how your ancestors had lived, who they had been. We will try to translate any epitaph in Hungarian, Hebrew, Russian, Yiddish, German. By doing all these things together, you will have a very moving hands-on experience. We do researches as we would for ourselves, our enthusiasm is the key driving factor in our enterprise. And we won't be in panic to work with you sometimes from 6 am to 10 pm. Our goal is to find what you are looking for and to bring you closer to your family history!

Our research fees: When we work for you, you would pay for the time, energy, telephone and travel expenses invested by us in the research, not for the results. Results of genealogical researches are not something you can forsee. It might happen that with good starting data, we would find anything you want within some days, with low expenses, and in some extreme cases (parish books burnt, stolen, disappeared) we will have to work very-very hard with high expenses to find any useful information for you. But if you have some good starting information, data, the chances for us to be very successful are really high.

Soviet Airforce in Hungary adventure tours: If you are interested in the history of Soviet Airforces (1945-1991) in Hungary, their bases, airfields, bombing ranges, come and reexplore this very exciting field with us. Your tour leader will be Karoly Vandor, the only researcher of this theme. Together with him, you will have the chance to see his collection dedicated to the Soviet Airforce, climb down to secret underground command posts, and visit the former biggest bombing range in Hungary. During the trip, you can be together with people who share your enthusiasm about the theme.
